Rodrigo Koxa tamed this absolute monster 80 footer off the coast of Nazare, Portugal back on November 8, 2017and finally got recognized for the record braking ride at the at the World Surf League Big Wave Awards. Rodrigo takes the crown from Garrett McNamara who owned it for 7 years after surfing 78 foot wave in Nazare in 2011.
