The following footage comes to us from the not so well known mountains of the Czech Republic where a rider named Lukas triggered a slide while skiing a tree’d run.

Footage obtained by Metro News shows the slide victim pull his airbag then frantically try to hold on to multiple branches before actually getting a grip. This video should serve as a proper reminder that airbags are useful but not as useful as the ability to reach out and grab a life saving branch mid-slide. Lucky!
