This avalanche in Zermatt was caught on webcam by a company that specializes in monitoring natural hazards. Its not clear if this contributed to stranding of tourists but it certainly didn’t help. The company that films natural hazards is called Geopraevent and they have found a pretty interesting niche that you can explore HERE.
