The little Upstate New York village of Copenhagen, population 800, is one of the snowiest places in the United States.

Copenhagen location atop Tug Hill, a broad plateau at the end of Lake Ontario gets blasted with lake effect snow. It is not abnormal for Copenhagen to be the snowiest place in America.
