“There was a rockslide on the Bookcliffs north of I-70 around mm 40. It kicked up a pretty big dust plume, did not affect the highway.” -Megan Terlecky

A major rockslide on the Bookcliffs in Mesa Country, Colorado was caught on camera by Jeff White on Sunday.  CBS Denver reports he was about 2 miles from the slide when he first heard what sounded like a giant explosion.  He then pulled out his camera and snapped the sequence.

Colorado State Patrol officer also tweeted a photo with the slide captured from his dashcam off in the distance.
