Loveland Ski Area Is Blowing Snow | Could Open In The Next Few Weeks!

The race to be the first ski resort to open in Colorado is on. Loveland Ski Area took advantage of some cold temps last night in order to blow snow on their slopes. Temperatures are expected to dip well below freezing tonight, which should allow the resort to blow even more snow.

NOAA is also calling for snow in the forecast!
“It’s go time! The Loveland Ski Area snowmaking team started making snow after midnight this morning. Who’s ready for ski season? Loveland hopes to open sometime mid-late October. Get ready!” – Loveland Ski Area
