Apparently Hermès Makes A $13K Carbon Road Bike…

Hèrmes, a french apparel brand known for its fine silk ties and scarves, is testing out the hard goods market with a road bike all their own.

From leather accents to a brilliant orange paint job, this road bike isn’t a complete gimmick like others we’ve seen. The 11-speed bicycle comes in at just under 20lbs and features hydraulic disc brakes, built in front/rear lights, and a Monocoque carbon frame. As far as roadies go, this might be the most stylish we’ve ever seen.

Natural smooth taurillon leather on contact points. 11 gears. Size M, recommended from 5′ 5″ to 5′ 11″

And for the older folks, they have the Le Flaneur. This model is just an elder version of the Sportif. Ultimately it’s a little heavier, has more forgiving handlebars and less gears.
