A Denver man and his dog made it up Quandary Peak (elevation 14,265′) but injuries sustained on the dog paws on the way down made descent impossible. Luckily Summit County Rescue didn’t have any human rescues to perform because they take priority over animal rescues. We are huge supporters of enjoying a outdoor with our dogs but doing so responsibly is up to the owner. Our dogs will follow us to the ends of the earth so we have to be the ones know their limits.
