Expect delays on I-70 with additional blasts planned once a week for the next 5 weeks as CDOT workers mitigate rockfall dangers to make one of Colorado’s most iconic highways safer to travel on. If you find yourself stuck in traffic due to one of these delays be patient and appreciate that without this kind of upkeep I-70 would be a treacherous stretch of road.
