Unable to Sell Hero5 Cameras, GoPro Is Begging People To Trade In Their Old Camera

GoPro has had a rough go as of late. The company has failed to move their new Hero 5 cameras from store shelves and into the hands of action sports enthusiast. So in order to help sluggish sales and move product, GoPro is begging people to trade in their old GoPro camera for a new one.

Part of the problem is that GoPro’s are already so good that the people who own them don’t see much reason to upgrade.

GoPro is now hoping it can woo people into upgrading their cams by offering up to $100 off the Hero5 Black (and up to $50 off the Hero5 Session) for their old devices. But before you rush to buy that new Hero5 you might want to check how much you can get on ebay where some Hero3 and Hero4 cameras are going for as high as $200…
