A winter storm blew into Colorado early yesterday afternoon and resorts across the state are covered in snow for what they hope will be the first snow to stick around for the rest of this season.

The winners was definitely Steamboat after racking up over a 12″ in the last 24 hours. That said, Steamboat is not open for business just yet.
Colorado Thanksgiving Forecast
A second system will replace a short but significant warm spell over the weekend. Current forecasts have much of Colorado seeing snow on Thanksgiving. The only exception to this forecast is Southwest Colorado which should have sunny skies for opening weekend at Purgatory, Telluride, and Wolf Creek.
