A huge winter storm just changed the alps overnight after approximately 80″ fell in the higher elevation regions of Austria and Switzerland over the weekend.

While the sun has since returned, wepowder.com is projecting snow returning on Wednesday with Chamonix, Courmayeur, and St Anton reaping the greatest rewards. In the meantime, this is shaping up to be the best early season for the alps in recent memory and European skiers have a lot to be thankful for heading into mid-November.
