With all this clown madness sweeping the nation, I got to looking for clown skiing footage and stumbled upon this instructor at Saint Lary Soulan Ski Resort in the the high Pyrenees of southwestern France.  Proving once more that if its goofy and ski related, the French probably invented it. 

Here are stilt skiers of a much different variety in Vancouver during the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.  Would love to see more of this crew in non-Olympic years:
