As of this morning, Loveland and Arapahoe Basin began making snow for the first time outside of testing routines. With the current blast of winter weather moving throughout the Rockies, this marks the first day of winter operations for both ski areas.
*The 2015/2016 ski season saw the two tie as they opened on exactly the same day– October, 29th.
