Authorities are still trying to piece together how a black bear got into a Golden, Colorado Subaru station wagon and locked itself. Jefferson County Deputies Tillman and McLaughlin were dispatched to the scene just before 9am on Tuesday and their puzzled reaction can be heard on the video.

The current theory is the bear entered through an unlocked door and then locked the door behind itself. They also think the bear spent an extended amount of time before it was released as evidenced by the condensation on the inside of the windows.
*Always remove any and all food items from your vehicle while in bear country and lock the doors!
