While winter comes to a steady close in the northern hemisphere, the southern hemisphere is about to get started. In fact, Cerro Catedral in Bariloche, Argentina just received its first snowfall of the season.
Although snow totals are unavailable, the pictures show roughly 2-3 inches of fresh at upper mountain levels. And while it may not stick, the snow is definitely stoking the fire for our southern ski brothers and sisters in Argentina and Chile.
