This is casual sidecountry safety gear in the form of a jacket with a built in avalanche airbags system by SubQ. Its an interesting approach but I’m afraid a piece of gear like this is just enough to give a certain segment of the skiing public an undeserved confidence to go in unpatrolled areas. Remember educate yourself about avalanche safety before venturing off the resort.
