A 51 year old man died in a skier on skier collision Saturday night at Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Seven Springs, Pennsylvania.  Jeffrey Behr of Delmont was skiing on Wagner trail around 9:15pm when he was accidentally struck by another skier.  He suffered injuries to his head and neck and was taken to the ski patrol’s medical office where he was later pronounced dead.

Seven Springs communications manager Katie Buchan released this statement:

“Our entire mountain family is deeply saddened by the tragic accident that occurred last evening. While we continue to work to uncover the details of how this occurred, our thoughts and prayers go out to this gentleman’s family, friends and loved ones during this unspeakably difficult time.”

Our thoughts and prayers are with Jeffrey Behr’s family and friends.
