Joel Paredes is an IT specialist at an investment company and a part time badass. The Montreal resident decided to ride his snowboard to his downtown job on Tuesday and document it with a selfie stick. He rode down Peel Street from De la Gauchetière Street to St-Jacques Street. In a classic good natured Canadian plot twist, he is worried that the recent viral status of the video he released might influence a younger generation of Canadians to mimic his renegade commuting style. “Now that the video is viral, I don’t want kids to go ahead and do it,” he said in an interview with the CBC.
