Private ski hills in Vermont are normally known for redneck rope tows accessed by just the community. But this ski hill is different…

The Hermitage Club’s ski operation on Haystack Mountain just invested 7.5 million dollars on a one-of-a-kind, Dopplemayer 6 pack chairlift that has a bubble. That’s right, Canyons, and Vail aren’t alone, Vermont has the bubble too. However, this bubble, named the Barnstormer Lift is privately owned, privately used, and is the only 6 pack bubble in the country.

You might be asking yourself, “why does a private ski hill need a six-pack lift?”

However, it’s pretty rad that the new lift, which is set to debut this season, will cut the ride time from 15 to 6 minutes compared to the old triple that stood in its place.

Wondering what the chair will look like? Just image the following video from Austria with a south Vermont backdrop.
