This is taken at the western edge of the Svรญna-fells-jรถkull (Pig-mountain-glacier). The “dirt” in the ice is not really lava, just gravel rubbed off the mountainside by the glacier. In Iceland this type of glacier is called Skriรฐ-jรถkull (Crawling-glacier).
