The barrier to entry into the world of high quality drone cinematography just got lower (not in price but in skill required) with the introduction of the 3DR Solo, the world’s first commercially available “smart drone.” The drone will be available for retail in May for $1000 for the base model or $1400 with the GoPro gimbal mount.
