Wes Eisenhauer captured this object and subsequent halo during a timelapse he was shooting outside of Custer, South Dakota on October 16th, 2014.  If you spend enough time outside these kind of weird phenomena happen this guy was super lucky to have been shooting  120 consecutive 30 second exposures while it did.
