5 Climbers Caught In Two Separate Avalanches Within An Hour in Scotland

Three climbers have been airlifted to a hospital in Scotland after they were caught in an avalanche in the Cairngorm mountains. It is being reported that none of the climbers suffered serious injures.

An hour early a separate avalanche occurred near the Fiacaill Buttress in the Coire an t-Sneachda area. The two climbers caught in that slid were able to self arrest after the slide carrying them around 150 meters.

Avalanche Conditions in the Cairngorms were described very high.
