Remember the Canadian snowboarder, Ross Rebagliati, who was stripped of his gold medal when he tested positive for pot? Well, this fall Ross plans to open a medical marijuana dispensary in Whistler called “Ross’ Gold”. From this flagship location Ross plans on franchising the shop across Canada.

In the last decade the number of patients with authorized access to Canada’s Marijuana Medical Access Program has grown from 500 to more than 21,000. Health Canada suggests that number will grow to more than 300,000 in the next decade.
