Montreal, Canada has received a record-breaking snowfall as blizzards continue to batter the North East. At least 45 centimeters of snow fell on Thursday, beating the previous record of 41 centimeters set in March 1971. The snow is causing travel chaos on roads during the busy holiday break. Montreal officials say snow removal will take more than a week and that the snow removal will cost the city about $25 million.
