Winter Storm Warning for Lake Tahoe | 10-20 Inches Above 7,000 Feet | Do You Believe?

This storm is REAL Lake Tahoe humans.  This is not a drill.  You are going to ski powder.  We know you’re all a bit jaded from the dismal nature of the winter so far, but this one looks like it’s worth getting out there for.  If all goes well, this could be a jumpstart to the Miracle March that just may keep us all from going completely insane.

A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for Lake Tahoe.  It’s in effect from 1am Wednesday until 7pm Wednesday.

WINTER STORM WARNING for TAHOE:

A WINTER STORM WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM
TO 7 PM PST WEDNESDAY.
* TIMING: LIGHT TO MODERATE SNOW SHOWERS WILL DIMINISH TONIGHT.
  THE SECOND STORM WILL WILL REACH THE TAHOE BASIN TUESDAY NIGHT
  WITH HEAVY SNOW AT TIMES THROUGH WEDNESDAY EVENING.

* WEDNESDAY SNOW ACCUMULATIONS: 10 TO 20 INCHES OF SNOW ABOVE
  7000 FEET WITH 5 TO 10 INCHES BELOW 7000 FEET. THE HIGHEST
  SNOW AMOUNTS WILL BE ALONG AND WEST OF HIGHWAY 89.

This could be the start of a big change in Tahoe.
