A Few Perfect Days in Hakuba | Photos and Video

A recent period of high pressure in Hakuba yielded conditions that were pretty much perfect. Sunny and clear, good snow, and reasonable stability. It has been really good to ski all the different alpine zones that Happo-One has to offer.

Zach Paley has taken some beautiful photos that capture how good the skiing has been recently.

Great light and great snow.
Classic Japanese terrain and scenery.

A real purdy turn from Miles Clark.

Sparkly snow on Japanese rice paddies.

Big turns on big faces.

Kamoshika, and baby Kamoshika.

Last turns as the slope falls away to the river.

High pressure departs, low pressure arrives. Its been a good few days!
