This is an Avalanche near Red Mountain Pass in Colorado on Feb. 17th that propagates across the whole mountain and up to near the summit. You can feel the relaxed atitudes of the riders and see many tracks on the slope, but mainly you can tell that they aren’t thinking avalanche safety at all by their cheers after the original fracture and the best quote:
“Does it still look like it’s coming at us?”
Then they run 3 steps, fall in the snow, and apparently the slide had stopped short by then.
