Alaska is cold and snowy (which is great), but wakeboarding is generally not cold or snowy. In this case, professional wakeboarder Andy Hurdman mixes up the two. And because wakeboarding is skiing’s awesome twice removed cousin, you get this teaser served up to you courtesy of UN.

This is a cool video and a modest production. Just a boat you might find in Alaska towing a wakeboarder through some ice bergs around Glacier Island. There is a huge potential for some crazy innovation in a place like Alaska and this video only scratches the surface. Maybe we will see more ice berg edits on a larger scale in the future. It’s probably much more dangerous than it looks too. If one of those giant bergs rolls over or crumbles on Hurdman it would certainly put a damper on his day.
