Despite what A-Basin says, Sunday River was the first ski resort open last year. The recent cold weather let Sunday River fire up and test their snowmaking guns. Coming up is pretty much the East Coast skier worst nightmare of warm sunny weather, but soon we will have some cold weather and I am hoping there can lay down their White Ribbon of Death so snow starved East Coasters can get some turns in. Hope you’re as stoked as me, and Gaia is giving us some great weather for hiking/biking so get out and enjoy before ‘stick” season.
