Some Telluride locals had the great opportunity to attend the Denver Broncos Monday night opener from a unique perspective…None of us were Broncos fans except Roby (who wouldn’t let us forget it- thanks for the broken glasses bro). I’m a Pats fan and was really sweating it hoping they’d cover the spread so I could continue drinking with the cash. Anthony is a Ravens fan and couldn’t help but gloat after their ass-whooping of the Steelers. Casey is a die hard Raiders fan, the Broncos opponent and divisional rival and he made that point very clear. We must’ve heard the word RAIDERS drawn out and shouted about seven thousand times over the course of the night.
How Were You Able to Get Away With Such Heckling in Their House?
The truly amazing thing was that he almost got his ass kicked only once, by some long haired wookie. Only one confrontation Broncos? The other amazing thing was that the Broncos could not manage a win opening night vs. the silver and black. How do you get a turnover at the 10 yard line and not punch it in in 4 downs? They looked pretty soft, especially Orton. It was rough too because my last name is real similar and they were saying some pretty degrading sh!t. Anyway, it was a blast up there and we got sauced, watched some crazy America stunts and enjoyed city life for a night. Get it together though Broncos, it’d be nice to try to like you- until Dec. 18th at least.
