The winter 2010/11 was one of the most epic winters in North American history. So, what do North Americans wanna see? We wanna see deliriously-deep powder shots from all our favorite ski resorts in the West. What did Powder give us? 10 pages of “skiing” rubber mats in flat, snowless, boring England. 5 full-page photos of hideous sliding, jumping, and bumping on rubber mats! Are you F$%king kidding me, Powder!?

Who gives a SH%T about psuedo-skiing in England!? After one of biggest winters on record in North America, you’re giving us sliding on rubber mats in the United Kingdom? Seriously? Have you guys lost all touch with reality? Did you actually think any of us would read that article?

Did you think your readers were gonna instinctually delve into an article about how sick the conditions on rubber mats were in Great Britain during a rainstorm last year? C’mon, Powder. Give us what we want. Give us what your name says. Unless you wanna change your name to “Wet Rubber.”
