Jay Dash – Photos of the Week

The photos of the week this week were taken by Mr. Jay Dash of Snowbird’s Powdershots. The rider in the images is none other than Snowbird’s own North Face Masters athlete/ MSI Ninja Jeremy Tidwell. Jay hails from Dirty Jers (NJ) and has only been at Snowbird for a little while, but he has learned his way around the back side of a camera really quickly. He is super stoked on life in the Wasatch and it shows in his work. All photos and the following words by Jay Dash.

This shot was taken in Mid Cirque last Monday after the 21″ in 24hr storm.  Jeremy saw a fresh powder field he could slash as the sun was rising over West Baldy.  We managed to time the sun rise and the Tram departure from Hidden Peak to complete the shot.

This shot also came from Monday in Chamonix Bowl.  We were looking to hit a jump with the Baldy ridge in the background but the wind was howling at the top so we dropped in a little bit and came up with this shot capturing the Chamonix shoots in the background.

This shot came back on December 24th.  It was a few days after a big storm and the sun had finally come out.  Temps were in the below zero range that week and the white frosted trees created a nice contrasting scene with the dark blue skies.

Another pow slash in Mineral Basin with the Timpanogos in the background.

Jeremy enjoying some more pow in Mineral.

This shot came from the December shoot as well.  Jeremy was about to hit a line when I looked up and saw this beautiful view of the American Fork Canyon and beyond.
