After watching Better Off Dead last night it was mandatory to ski th K-12 first thing this morning. It was pretty damn good and the light was much better than I expected it to be. There was more fresh snow than you could shake a stick at in Tiger Tail. It was rad to get first tracks out there for the first time this season. The runouts under the Forbidden Zone was amazingly smooth again too.
These mini storms are pretty cool. I usually prefer the deep ones, but this is a nice little change up. It is rad to have a fresh smooth 4-6″ every morning. It was absolutely pounding snow today from noon onward and I escaped the canyon before the beater drivers started crashing off the road left and right. Set your alarm for tomorrow morning…
