Stowe has had some crazy weather in the past 4 days. From warm, rainy weather to a HUGE winter storm that dropped close to 30″ of snow, to bluebird skies and warmer weather! Although the temps have warmed up a bit since the massive storm on Monday, the snow has stayed pretty good throughout the mountain. Today was an absolutely beautiful day at Stowe. No wind, nice temps and great snow. The Chin and other spots off the summit are in prime form right now. Everything is so filled in! Today we went up to the Rock Garden to check it out. The snow was wind buffed at the top, but got way softer after the first few turns. It seems like people are hiking everything right now. Go get after it before this warmer weather blows in and brings some wet precipitation!
