“As the winter winds litter London with lonely hearts” -Thats all I sang that day, and really how I felt that day as the “winter winds closed Whistler with disappointed hearts”. It’s rare to have Whistler Blackcomb Close, completely close. I guess the mountain was mimicking Squaw this week because we saw 100km winds and as a result SHUT. On the other hand…. with the wind came the snow, and even-though the alpine didn’t open we still played in the trees and had fun. It’s all about having fun. If the movie GNAR taught us anything…it’s to have fun!
