Wasatch Adventures: Photos of the Week

It has been an eventful week in the Wasatch. Lots of early mornings, lots of hiking, lots of skiing powder with friends and lots of beautiful light. Here are some shots from the adventures of the week in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Enjoy.

The Devil’s Castle at sunset. This was an epic evening hike up Grizzly that rewarded us with some of the sites that make you so glad you left the East Coast.

An early morning hike up Mt. Superior is another great way to celebrate living in Utah. Too bad there were 30 people that got up earlier than we did….oh well, next time….

Eric Bryant has done a lot of skiing for a 19 year old from the Central Valley farmlands of California. Here he is showing us how it is done on the knife edge near the summit of Mt. Superior. Eric was all smiles while ticking this one off his checklist.

Tim Valcourt moved to Utah all the way from New Hampshire to break up ice on Baldy for you with his hurling stick. Make sure to show him some love next time you see him for looking out for your safety. Speaking of safety, hurling does not sound like a safe sport at all.

Who knew that you could run into beautiful women up at Alta? She even had an Unofficial jacket on. Weird. You gotta love it when these kinda things happen.

The girls just kept multiplying in Grizzly that day. You should really go snowshoeing if you are looking to meet a girl at Alta. Apparently that is where they all hang out. I have been wasting years in the Peruvian Lodge bar, Grizzly is the spot!
