HOT DAMN, I love this clip! This may be the greatest music video ever made, and somehow I had never seen this before tonight. This video offers it all, from the ballet to the classic airs and the fluorescent fart bags to the man himself faceplanting off a jump. Absolutely AMAZING! What I really love though is how in the 80s everyone always skied in these huge packs, just airing off everything and really just getting rad in an epic neon gang. You don’t see enough of this anymore, except maybe on some Saturdays and major ski holidays like Christmas and Presidents Day weekend. This scenario just isn’t quite as cool and a lot more scary. The one part of this video that really puzzles me though is at the 1:37 mark. Are these guys a synchronized ski pole-violin skiing orchestra or something? I have never seen anything quite like this before. Bizarre I know, especially considering there is no violin in the song. Awesome, weird stuff for sure!
