Wow, today was surprisingly really good! We started off the day taking high-speed groomer laps over on the Gondola. Today was one of the first days this year where you could feel totally confident in laying down your edge, really ripping some turns. The snow was very consistent and allowed you to really open it up and haul ass. After warming up the legs with top to bottom runs, we dove into the woods. We were all very surprised to find awesome conditions! Now I’m not sure if the snow was untouched because people had been taking days off during the cold spell, but some of the more popular woods at Stowe had freshies all the way down. Today wasn’t about finding any misty stashes of snow, it was more about trying to open it up and really shred the woods. We found a consistent 6+ inches through out most of our spots, all untouched. Not sure why it was like that, but hey, we’ll take it. My legs are still burning from one of the better days of the season thus far!
