This past February the Unofficial crew was able to get sacred in the Hakuba Valley of Japan.  With everything from monkeys to mank, wind to wild warming, and even a little bit of snow sliding we saw it all.  While conditions may not have been as bottomless as one would hope, skiing in the land of the rising sun is an experience that rivals the most epic of ski extravaganzas.  Sit back, relax, and enjoy a graphical tour of Japow!

Skiing the Seven Continents | Chapter 3, Heli-Skiing AFRICA

In February of 2010 Unofficial traveled from Chamonix, France to Marrakech, Morocco to chase down a lead on one of the only privet helicopters in North Africa.  After weeks of emails and phone calls we got in touch with a French guy named Eddy who led us to the only privet helicopter company in Morocco. They had never taken anyone up into the High Atlas mountains but had been trying to for years. The helicopter company submitted all the paper work with the government to legally fly in Moroccan airspace and ordered a basket from Italy to hold our skis.

That being said, Antarctica is truly an unbelievable place that at times is hard to believe is even real. The mixture of wildlife, terrain and remoteness make skiing the White Continent a highlight of any ski career.
