250,000 residents in Chile’s capital city experienced power outages in the biggest snowstorm in 46 years. ABC News spoke with Andres Rebolledo of the energy ministry who said power should be restored by Sunday night or Monday. Chile’s Meteorological Office reports it was the heaviest snowfall in Santiago since 2007 and it was the biggest snowfall in the capital in nearly a half century. Up to 16 inches were reported to have accumulated in parts of the city.
