In a surprise announcement, Indy Pass is ending sales of its 2023/24 pass at midnight on Monday, April 10th.  From what we understand, the good people behind Indy don’t want to see these wonderful ski areas overrun the way other resorts on big pass products have been.

By capping sales, the resorts on the Indy Pass will remain uncrowded, which was one of the aspects that made many of these ski areas special, to begin with.

So if you want an Indy Pass, you better move quickly.

23/24 Indy Pass Sales to End at Midnight on Monday, April 10

After experiencing record sales, sales will be paused to evaluate capacity for the upcoming season.

Grand County, CO. (April 9, 2023) – The Indy Pass announced today that pass sales for the 23/24 season will end on Monday, April 10, at Midnight. A limited number of passes may be released this fall after evaluating capacity with our resort partners for the upcoming season.

“To preserve the independent and uncrowded skiing experience we all know and love, we are pumping the brakes on pass sales. We remain committed to each of our unique ski areas on the Indy Pass and plan to work with them over the summer to evaluate capacity limits and shape the best possible winter for our shared passholders, said Doug Fish, Indy Pass Founder.

In prior years, Indy Passes have remained on sale through mid-winter. However, record sales during the 22/23 season, unprecedented passholder renewals, and new passholders for 23/24 have precipitated this decision.

Mt. Hood Meadows and Mt. Ashland Renew for 23/24

Mt. Hood Meadows and Mt. Ashland, both in Oregon, will join 102 resorts that are returning for the 23/24 season. “We had a great first season on the Indy Pass and continue to see strong visitation from passholders across the US,” said Dave Tragethon, Mt Hood Meadows marketing director.
