The Fourth of July car launch in Glacier View, Alaska.

GLACIER VIEW, ALASKA – If there’s a best way to celebrate the Fourth of July, it’s 100% the way that Glacier View, Alaska, celebrates. While most of us are launching fireworks or burning some sparklers, Glacier View is launching cars off a cliff while blaring ‘God Bless the U.S.A.’ That’s the America I love.

The car launch is clearly a popular event, and it’s easy to see why. Tickets cost just $20 for adults, and it might be the greatest party you’ll ever attend. Food vendors are set to offer pizza, ice cream, brisket sandwiches, and gyros this year, and rumors state that a pink Barbie Corvette will be shot off the cliff this year.

Don’t worry, there aren’t any people inside the vehicles. They’re launching those bad boys empty, and it’s insane. Quite possibly the greatest Fourth of July event out there.
