Well, that was weird. The fact that this video was created in conjunction with GQ should be a warning that the footage is heavily fashion based but the rolling through the sand part– that was 100% Hollywood weirdo. The national parks visited by Mr. Pitt included Carlsbad Caverns, White Sands National Monument, and the Everglades.
