When considering the most despicable cases of theft in the history of man-kind, stealing prosthetics from an adaptive snowboard program is definitely near the top of the list.

As covered in a recent article by CBS Denver, authorities are currently on the look out for a robber suspected of stealing approximately $40,000 dollars worth of prosthetics, adaptive snowboard gear, and clothing from the Adaptive Action Sports office @CopperMountain.

So far, officials with the AAS are indicating that if the gear is returned, no names will be released and no charges will be filed. If you have any information surrounding the case, please reach out to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.
