They might not be the little grey humanoids variety but scientists have found what they best describe as microbial aliens in the hot springs of Yellowstone National Park.
The microbe has some very unique characteristics to allow it to live in the caustic environment of the hot springs that are found nowhere else on earth. They could be a blueprint of how alien life could exist in the harsh conditions of space. Just another layer of how fascinating our national parks can be!
