Boulder County Coroner’s Office announced that DNA tests have confirmed the severed foot found inside a boot at the base of Eldora Mountain Resort in June do not belong to a missing resort employee.  Ryder Johnson was last seen leaving Eldora on Janurary 17th and has been missing ever since. DNA results have ruled him out as the victim but could not identify the remains as reported by kdvr.com.
The entire 180 acre resort has been searched with cadaver dogs, as well as 8 miles of surrounding nordic skiing trails but no additional remains were discovered.  The boot in question is a Rugged Outback men’s Apex Leather waterproof boot, size 13, for the left foot pictured below.
