You might think Aaron Wypyszynski is a bit of a wing-nut for creating The Wingboard, inspired by his early childhood love of the Saturday morning cartoon TaleSpin but the inventor isn’t just your average garage tinkerer.  The Purdue University aeronautical engineering masters recipient has been working in aeronautics field since his graduation but never fully gave up on his childhood fascination of recreating the cartoon where an animated bear was towed behind a plane on a wing type apparatus. In 2013 he started R&D on what was to become The Wingboard. He came up a bit shy of his goal with his Kickstarter campaign ($4,637 pledge of the $32,000 goal)  but that hasn’t stopped the pursuit of his dream.  Best of luck to this guy. Wouldn’t want to be a test pilot but am interested to see it work.

This is Kit Cloudkicker, the inspiration behind the project
