A 60 year-old man is dead after an apparent snowboarding accident occurred at Park City Mountain Resort on Sunday afternoon reports The Park Record.

His unresponsive body was discovered by an unidentified individual, who alerted ski patrol to the situation at roughly 3:45pm MST. The man was on an intermediate trail at the time of the discovery. He was not breathing. Although ski patrol attempted to resuscitate the man, they were unsuccessful in their attempts. He was then transported to the bottom of the mountain via a toboggan, where he was then transported by a helicopter to the nearby University of Utah Hospital. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The victim has yet to be identified.
